Today was mild, it was little bit cold but because of warm sun rays; my body, mind & soul felt restored. As usual on weekends my mother and I made simple breakfast. After finishing our breakfast, my mother called her sister to make sure if she was doing okay. Thankfully, my aunt said everything was fine, well except she had a cold. My mother was telling her to just get some rest and take plenty of Vitamin Cs. I could hear the conversations because it was on the speaker-phone.
Few seconds later after talking to my aunt, she then called her friend or I could say her Best Friend. Her friend named Yoko, sounded very melancholic. I immediately knew something was not good by listening to her voice. Then gradually she broke down to tears but not in sobbing way. It was the news that I or anybody really did not like to hear. Unfortunately, her dog, a pomeranian passed away on January 9, 2011 due to many health complications; she was just 4 years old.
I was shocked, as if I felt my heart sank down to the floor and broke into thousand pieces. My friend or I consider her as my little sister, Samantha (Yoko's daughter). I could feel her sorrow even though they live few miles away. If you are an animal lover like myself, you know it's hard to cope with loss of your beloved. I understand because I had two beloved cats; one passed away due to cancer, the other of old age of 19 years and I always miss them ever since.
What I do know and believe in, is that all cats, dogs, and other animals definitely do go to the Other Side or known as Heaven. There is a book that I have read before and I encourage everyone to read: All Pets Go To Heaven by Sylvia Browne. The author explains about relationships of our pets, how they impact our lives. Also, she describes that they are well, restored back to health, and happily waiting us on the Other Side. So, no matter our beloved pets went through their last moments of life, they will always live within our hearts.
When I meet my sister soon, I want to give her a sympathy hug. I will tell her the only way to get through this, is that it will take time. Sometimes, if you give yourself time, to listen to your surroundings. Quietly, you will feel a soft, warm, furry touch rubbing against your arms, legs, face. You will know it's your beloved pet visiting from paradise. It happens to me from time to time, when I lay down on a sofa to take a little nap; I always get that nice warm radiance feeling from my cats. Now, it sounds awkward but if you love your dearly beloved pet; they never left you because you & your animals have that special bond that always existed ever since.

May my sister's dog Yuna R.I.P.

Happy Birthday to Edgar Allan Poe as I thought. If he was alive today it would be his 202nd Birthday. Unfortunate for him though, to die in such tragic way... Nobody in fact, do not know what really happened to him. There could have been a fight, plotting him to get poisoned or maybe sudden illness. Any possibilities can be assuming in historic person view. Only accurate detail of his last moments of life was that he was found in horrible condition. He was taken to a hospital somewhere in Baltimore, died on October 7, 1849 at age 40. Now, I don't consider myself bookworm but I do love to read; especially his works.
There is a person that I know. Never met her (in person), though I wish I had. I have to say that we have so much in common. It is weird because...... goodness, I don't even know where to start! Well, let me start by her name or known nickname: Hikki. Some people get a spark by hearing this name; yes, she is known as Hikaru Utada. She is very famous in Japan & America (sometimes) and did you know? She was born same birthday as Edgar Allan Poe! I think that's awesome, she actually stated that she loves to read his tales & poems. There goes one thing in common, another we share is that we're bilingual. There is more conjoint between us but I personally favor to keep that secret. Also, I definitely would love to meet her someday.
It's going to sound strange when I explain this but I feel that part of Edgar Allan Poe's soul lives within her in psychic sense. I don't know why but it feels like it, from what I can recall. It was one of TV show interview in Japan that she said, "I would love to open my very own bookstore someday, be an author and that is one of my dreams." I hope she does because it will be interesting what her book is going to be about. Lastly, I know that he is in a place called Heaven. Smiling down at his fan readers while he still continues to write (probably).
